Event week update (including schedule changes!)
Good day NEGT Teams,
Our season closing, 2025 Championship finalizing event is here! Every championship is up for grabs with multiway battles going in each class and we have over 20 entries to fill out a nice field to close our 2025 chapter and set the tone for 2026. We also have multiple new teams joining and a couple 2024 teams making a comeback with new or rebuilt cars.
Of very important note, the schedules have shifted earlier both days! See the “supps” for details, but the Friday race is running from 6-9 and the Saturday race is running from 10:30-1:30. The Friday practice race and warm up is at 2:50. Event information and registration links can be found here: https://www.northeast-gt.com/2025-events/ These changes have been made due to dusk shifting, MassTuning format changes and to accomedate breaks for the flaggers. To help commemorate our great season, all our awesome teams and to thank our staff and volunteers that joined us this year, we will have some food and beverages Saturday afternoon in addition to the awards. The series is providing drinks, pizza and wings, plus some dessert. Teams are welcome to bring food, sides or dessert to add to the spread. Please let us know if you plan to bring something.

Reminders and Updates:
- Rulebook updates were minor. Creativity and a strong competitive spirit displayed by a couple of our teams inspired two new rules and we clarified some championship and points related items. The updated rulebook can be found here: www.northeast-gt.com/rules-
and-forms/ - Garages are still available for $50 per day and can be rented by updating your team or race school entry and during check-in at the track
- MassTuning has some space available still, is running smaller groups now and has added an expert run group for better quality track time! https://www.
motorsportreg.com/events/ masstuning-trackfest-sep-19- 2025 - Flagtronics units are still available to rent or purchase and will be required for the event. For those renting them, you will need 2 amp USB power or 12V power for the unit. A good USB power pack can be used. Teams with your own units, charge them ahead of time to ensure proper function, especially during pit stops.

events - All drivers and over-the-wall crew need to be registered for the event and take care of the event waiver on MSR at: msreg.com/negt-sept2025
- All new 2025 drivers must apply for their NEGT race license and take care of their gear waiver at: msreg.com/negt2025app. This includes all drivers who ran with us in 2024!
- All over-the-wall crew can take care of their gear waiver at: msreg.com/negt2025app
- Teams running GT9, GT11, GT14 and GT18 need to complete their class declaration at: northeast-gt.com/calculator. Please contact us with any questions or issues. There is a lot of info, but we are taking performance factors into account that most orgs ignore and we are happy to help you through the process!
- Pit stalls and garages are first come first serve, but let us know if you need multiple stalls or bays together. Pit lane setup can commence Friday morning.
- The short mock race and warm-up session at 2:50 Friday afternoon. This will be the last on track session of the NEGT race school, which includes a couple practice starts at the beginning and about 20 minutes of on-track time. Feel free to skip the practice starts or hang out at the back to just use the time as a warm-up.
