Welcome

Welcome to Real Clean Racing with Northeast GT Real Clean Racing with Northeast GT

Northeast GT stands for Northeast Grassroots Touring (NEGT), and NEGT exists to bring real, clean racing to the road racing circuits of New England and the Northeast.

NEGT presents the Northeast GT Cup (GTC), a strictly no-contact racing championship that doesn’t leave the Northeast. Six rounds of racing, each with two 2hr races (two mandatory “driver swaps”, teams of 1, 2, or 3).  For drivers new or returning to wheel to wheel racing, the Northeast GT Race School (GTRS) helps drivers make the transition from HPDEs and time trials to full wheel-to-wheel.  And for all track-day drivers (in track-prepared vehicles) already promoted to the fastest run group, NEGT offers real hot lapping with Time Trial Leaderboard: timed hot lap sessions with full open passing.

Who Are We?

Armin Mejia (of MassTuning, which offers the largest track day schedule in New England) and Nick Fontana (endurance racer, time trailer, iRacer, and original US Nissan GT Academy finalist) have paired up to create the simple, clean, and Northeast regional racing series they wished already existed.
